About Petty Cattle
we are three generations of beef farmers, who strive to raise exceptional animals through sustainable means. We raise primarily Angus, Hereford and Murray gray stock on pasture, supplementing the animals with quality grass hay between growing seasons. Our animals also receive trace minerals and sea life kelp to meet their nutritional needs, ensuring the meat they produce is rich in vitamins and minerals. We take pride in raising animals to thrive in a low stress environment out on pasture, which benefits both the animals health and the quality and tenderness of the meat you receive.
Our Products
If you’re looking to fill a freezer, having a steer processed for your family is a great way to do that. However, not everyone has the freezer space for hundreds of pounds of beef. So, we also offer beef purchased by the half, or quarter steer. That way we can accommodate smaller freezers and families, while you still receive the benefit of buying in bulk. If you prefer to buy a few pieces at a time, you can find our beef locally in stores named below for purchase that way. As always, the animals are raised on pasture with organic inputs to ensure the meat you take home is nourishing and delicious.
